NOTICE OF VILLAGE GENERAL ELECTION

NOTICE IS HEREBY given that the Village of West Hampton Dunes will hold a Village General Election on Friday June 21, 2024. Polling will be conducted at 914 Dune Road, West Hampton Dunes from 12:00 p.m. noon until 9:00 p.m.

The Election will be held for the following positions and terms:

Mayor – term of four (4) years (July 1, 2024- July 3, 2028)
Trustee – term of four (4) years (July 1, 2024-July 3, 3028)
Trustee – term of four (4) years (July 1, 2024-July 3, 3028)
Village Justice – term of four (4) years (July 1, 2024-July 3, 2028).

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing will be held as to the following matter:

Agency: Board of Trustees, Village of Westhampton Dunes
Date: September 12, 2024
Time: 6:00 pm
Place: 906 Dune Road, West Hampton Dunes, New York

Subject 1. Proposed agreement with Westhampton Beach Fire District for fire protection and emergency medical services for the entirety of the Village, which is not located within a fire district, for the period through and including June 30, 2025.

Subject 2. Proposed local law amending and restating Chapter 220 of the Code of the Village of West Hampton Dunes, a law providing for the administration and enforcement of the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code.

At the said time and place, all interested persons may be heard with respect to the foregoing matters. All relevant documents may be inspected at the office of the Village Clerk, Village Hall, 914 Dune Road, West Hampton Dunes, New York, during regular business hours.

Any person having a disability which would inhibit attendance at, or participation in, the hearing should notify the Village Clerk at least three business days prior to the hearing, so that reasonable efforts may be made to facilitate such attendance and participation.
