24 hours day, 7 days week
We continuously accept applications and resumes for part-time Constable positions.
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
1. There will be qualifying medical, psychological and physical fitness evaluations and extensive background investigation.
2. Must possess a valid driver’s license issued by the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles.
3. Must be a U.S. Citizen and resident of Suffolk County at the time of appointment.
4. Must hold a current New York State MTPC Police Officer certificate. A current New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services Peace Officer Certification does NOT meet the required standards.
