Notice of General Meeting for the Board of Trustees

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Trustees of the Incorporated Village of West Hampton Dunes will conduct a general meeting and a budget hearing on Saturday April 20, 2024, at 914 Dune Road, West Hampton Dunes at 12 pm noon and via Zoom regarding the proposed tentative budget for the fiscal year 2024/2025 submitted by the Village Treasurer. Please take notice that the link and instructions for virtual viewing and participation in the meeting will be available on the Village of West Hampton Dunes website prior to the public hearing.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the annual compensation proposed to be paid to the Mayor is $109,365.00 AND that the annual compensation proposed to be paid to each member of the Board of Trustees is $3,000.00.

The Tentative Budget is available to be inspected by any interested person during regular business hours at the office of the Village Clerk.

on a Local Law

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on April 20, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at 914 Dune Road, West Hampton Dunes, New York 11978, the Board of Trustees of the Village of West Hampton Dunes will hold a public hearing on a proposed local law of 2024, the title of which is “Local Law No. of 2024, a Local Law Amending Chapter 560, Table 560b, dimensional regulations in the Residential Zone of the West Hampton Dunes Village Code”.

Please take notice that the link and instructions for virtual viewing and participation in the meeting will be available on the Village of West Hampton Dunes website prior to the public hearing.

The subject and purpose of the local law is to amend the regulations regarding height limitations contained in Table 560b to change “2” stories to “3” stories.

NOTICE OF VILLAGE GENERAL ELECTION

NOTICE IS HEREBY given that the Village of West Hampton Dunes will hold a Village General Election on Friday June 21, 2024. Polling will be conducted at 914 Dune Road, West Hampton Dunes from 12:00 p.m. noon until 9:00 p.m.

The Election will be held for the following positions and terms:

Mayor – term of four (4) years (July 1, 2024- July 3, 2028)
Trustee – term of four (4) years (July 1, 2024-July 3, 3028)
Trustee – term of four (4) years (July 1, 2024-July 3, 3028)
Village Justice – term of four (4) years (July 1, 2024-July 3, 2028).

TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL &
NOTICE OF ANNUAL TAX GRIEVANCE DAY

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Village Assessor of the Incorporated Village of West Hampton Dunes has completed and filed the Tentative Real Property Assessment Roll for the Tax Year 2024/2025 at the office of the Village Clerk on February 1, 2024. It is available for public review at the Village Office located at 4 Arthur Street, Westhampton Beach, NY 11978, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. until Tuesday, February 20, 2024. The Board of Review will meet to hear complaints in relation to assessments on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at the Village office located at 4 Arthur St. Westhampton Beach, NY between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

At this time any owner of real property, or the owner’s representative, may appear before the Board of Assessment Review to contest or grieve their 2024-2025 Real Property Assessment.
