VILLAGE GRIEVANCE DAY EXTENDED TO MARCH 2, 2010

THE DEADLINE TO FILE FOR AN ASSESSEMENT REVIEW IS MARCH 2, 2010. Documentation (RP-524) is required to be completed and filed in order to be considered. Any documentation received after March 2, 2010, will not be considered or reviewed for the 2010 Assessment purposes.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that to be in accordance with New York State requirements of 100% valuation for assessement purposes, the Village of West Hampton Dunes has adopted the 2009 Southampton Town Assessment Roll as the 2010 Tentative Village Assessment Roll.
PLEASE ALSO TAKE NOTICE that the Village has extended the Grievance period and that the Board of Assessment Review will meet on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Police Constabulary located at 914 Dune Road in the Village of West Hampton Dunes to hear complaints in relation to assessments. Real Property Assessment complaints and supporting documentation will be received by this office until March 2, 2010.

One of the Founding Trustees of the Village , Bruno DiCapite, has passed away

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Bruno DiCapite. Bruno was one of the moving forces, as well as a wonderful friend to everyone in the village. Bruno died at his home surrounded by his family and loved ones. He will be greatly missed. The annual Bar-B-Que that was scheduled for 9/13/03 at Pikes Beach, then re-scheduled for Saturday, 9/20/03 at 12:00 p.m. at Pikes Beach, has once again been re-scheduled to Sunday 9/21/03 at 12:30 p.m. with the location changed to Cove Lane, due to Hurricane Isabel.
